About you – You will ideally be recently or nearly Chartered and will be looking to develop a career path in Engineering Consultancy. Whilst you will be undertaking some project work of your own, at ARC Engineers, we expect our Senior Engineers to OWN IT, and with the support of our Technical Directors, this involves taking day to day responsibility for the delivery of projects; mentoring and coaching junior members of staff, contributing to the coordination of internal resources, and keeping Client’s informed and advised.
- Be able to ADAPT to changing circumstances and situations.
- Steel and / or concrete frame analysis and design.
- Tekla or Robot, TEDDS, BlueBeam, Masterseries Masonry software packages.
- Experience in Idea Statica and / or Revit would be useful but not essential
- The ability to provide written reports and provide informed Consultancy advice to Clients.
- Involvement with internal meetings, peer to peer training, internal ‘champion’ role.
- An interest in sustainability, low carbon and whole life impact of structural form would be advantageous. This could lead to the role of internal champion, coaching and mentoring other members of the ARC team and advising Clients on this subject in relation to structural form.
